I purchased this a few months back and we have been fully satisfied. GE is a great brand and the fridge has adjustable shelves and an easy to use layout.

This is my 2nd one. Last one was awesome. I looked at others. I was not impressed. Ice maker is a great design. I love this fridge.

Water dispenser

The water coming out of the dispenser tasted funny. Changing the filter, running gallons of water through the device as instructed by on line support did not improve the situation. Repairman was sent by GE. He said there was bacteria in the reservoir, which he replaced, but said because of its design, it may well happen again, adding that the warranty may not cover another replacement of the parts. Really!!! They designed it so that the warmth produced near the reservoir was going to promote bacteria?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it has been a pretty good fridge it is a bit noisy it does not seem to sit level and everything seems to be tipped to the back that is how it was installed the ice maker spits ice out and even though you hit cubed it can come out crushed the drawers are hard to pull out and they stick might be cause it the fridge does not seem level

Third one - water leak and condensation on door

On my third refrigerator, kept hoping issues would go away. Water dispenser straw leaks. I dry the water tray night before, and wake up with a teaspoon of water in the tray. Secondly, after getting first water in the morning or after some hours - a large condensation swirl about 15" appears on the freezer door. I really like everything else about this fridge, but afraid I need to look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used to have a fridge/freezer with the freezer drawer on the bottom. I got so tired of digging through the freezer to find things, not to mention that the things at the bottom of the drawer were always smashed, that I got this new side by side. Love the organization I get from it. Everything in its place! Yay! It runs very quietly too! I also like that the bins on the doors are wide enough to fit full gallon-sized containers.The only draw back is the fruit and vegetable drawers are not as big as I would like because I buy a lot of fruit and veggies and the drawers are always full to the brim. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Awesome refrigerator

This refrigerator came with our new home we built. It is just what we wanted in a refrigerator. I love the space on the side for the milk and the 2 liters. Its great not having to buy water each morning, I just feel my mug at home and head to work.
