Terrible finish on doors

Doors had Sticky / Gummy compound on them and when using Vinegar and a Microfiber cloth door surface now has minor scratches on them. Doors should have been textured like the sides. Will be calling GE on this

Bought this about a month ago. Love this refrigerator. Operates very quietly, sturdy shelves, door bins and drawers. Nice lighting too.

Practical and neat

The slate color/no fingerprints is great. Good interior lights and interior space is good. I appreciate adjustable shelving! The temp. in the fridge should be lower, holds at 42F but is set at lowest possible 32F. Freezer temp holds perfectly at any temperature setting. I check with 2 different thermometers, so there really is an issue with the refrigerator compartment (or the motherboard setting) for the temperatures. To monitor the temperatures, the sensors are not blocked and the door is not being opened often, and the ambient house temperature is at 65 to 70. I like the unit very much but need to get the temperature problem solved before next summer.
Other reviews spoke about various noises, and I do not find them to be an issue at all.

Lots of storage space

I was a little reluctant about getting the side by side side refrigerator/freeze because of thr space of the fridge. I must say that it surprised me how much food I could fit in it. I like to keep my bread and fruit in the fridge. I love how spacious the drawers are I was able to fit a large bag of apples, container of grapes, sweet potatoes and large container of spinach in the fruits and veggies drawer and still have room fo easy opening and closing. Love it!
