Perfect Replacement

I bought this unit to replace a 19 year old GE. The ice maker had stopped working. It still made ice, but would no longer deliver it to the door dispenser. Other than that it was a good unit so I had to go with GE again. I did notice that the working parts of the ice maker are now covered in plastic and the rust that created the problem with the old unit should not be an issue now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I selected this model for the double door convenience and volume of ice. The ice has been an issue at family gatherings in the past, but no more. This is our first ice and water outside the door feature and it is used continually.

Previous side by side was smaller so went with this model and love it! Holds all we need and adjustable shelves give the convienience of making room for more.

Look is nice-not in love

Purchased in October-had problems with freezer frosting over-fixed by taping door closed for several days-fingerprints do show on handle-water rather noisy when filling-still trying to decide if it was the right purchase
