Horrific appliance.

Had nothing but issues with the appliance. We had it swapped out for another one just like it and we continued to have issues with that one as well.

Too much plastic.
Middle drawer does not slide easily. Sticky. You have to puss one side than the other.

Great ice maker but not so good on storage

I bought this a month ago. At first I was not really happy with my purchase. Now after getting used to this refrigerator I do feel slightly better. The pros are (1) it has huge ice storage and make ice fast (2) seems to cool very evenly and keeps everything nice and cold from top to bottom. The cons (1) the light at the top is stupid and takes up way to much space (2) the shelves have large leading edges which also take up useful space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

definitely not the quality/construction as our previous model 15 years prior
drawers do not slide/glide effortlessly, gap in gasket door seals

Poor freezer.

Refrigerator area seems to be working fine. Already having trouble with the freezer. Water dispenser not dispensing water. Might be a leak somewhere because there I s ice formation on the shelves. Not happy!!! Heard about freezer problems before I bought this GE product.

I've had the refrigerator 3 months. It has already quit working. Have a new compressor ordered. The drawers are really junkie, don't slide in and out very well. Simply putting pictures on the front of the frig with magnets has it all scratched up.
