OK, but could use a little work

This is a typical side-by-side refrigerator. Our older model, that we replaced with this, was about the same. The ice-maker on this one takes up more space and its harder to get the whole tray out. The door shelves are not big enough to hold an ice-crean container, like the old one was, which is a minus. The bins are a nice touch, and slide out, so that works well, and the food is more accessible. On the refrigerator side, its nice to have a built-in filter that can be easily removed. The chiller drawers are much more cheaply made than our old machine, and tend to be noisy and sticky when opening and closing. The non-spill shelves are nice, and almost a necessity. I like the shelves built into the slides in the sides of the refrigerator instead on on the racks, so that is a nice touch. One annoying thing is that almost every time I open the door, the refrigerator moves. There really should be more resistance on the wheels, or the wheels should have locks. All in all, a pretty good product, with a couple of areas for improvement. Oh, and in this day and age, you should be able to find some packing tape that doesn't leave residue to be cleaned.

Good refrigerator.

Panel where ice and water is released should have lighting so it can be read at all times. Lettering is not readable when not in a well lit room. The freezer is limited due to ice maker location. The refrigerator and freezer work well and maintain the temperature set.It does it's job,nothing to brag about. Only minor inconveniences.

Slate finish is beautiful!

I love the stainless steel look, but hate the smudges. The Slate finish is awesome. Love all the room in the door shelves. Only complaint is that while simply sliding one of the door shelves in place, the clear plastic front piece cracked and the corner broke off. Still works and is functional, but disappointing.

We Like the Slate Grey because it doesn't show fingerprints! The ice crusher worked a little slow the first day but is much faster after a week of use. Easy to pull in and out ...Just a WONDERFUL product!
