This is my first side by side. Very roomy. Love the water and ice in the door. Basic and easy. The filter seems to last a long time. We are at the six month Mark and still on the first filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this refrigerator since Jan. 2016 and find it just doesn't have enough space for my husband and myself. Tends to freeze items in the back if it is full.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We really are enjoying the new features in our newest side by side GE refrigerator & this is our 3rd one. We noticed right away that the refrigerator door shelves are deeper and can hold more items. My husband likes the swing door in the ice maker. We pretty much eliminated the newer styles - old people like us don't want to be digging down into a bottom freezer compartment. And, we are not that organized to be opening only one of the two top doors for the refrigerator & figured we'd be having to open both doors all the time. And, the LED lights make the insides so, so much better!
