Had to replace our old frig in a hurry. After checking, this model fit our needs perfectly. Have had it approximately two months and love it.

Great fridge!

We got this fridge about a month ago. It has remained very consistent for temps. I love the crushed ice feature and the door alarm. It also make plenty of ice. We're a family of 5 adults and entertain often and have never run out of ice. I love the feature of viewing the temps from the door as well as being able to adjust them from the outside. It's been a good replacement!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Well built, quiet, large interior, handy!

Love the side-by-side so much better than the clunky bottom drawer freezer! It's sleeker looking, well built and quiet! Stainless steel is beautiful and the sides are such a nice texture and color. We'll stick with GE!

Brand new should work like brand new

We bought this in June, it is now October so 5 months, suddenly the ice machine starts making only crushed ice for three days, nothing we did could change it, suddenly it went back to regular ice(on the regular button whole time) items in the back of the fridge seem to freeze up while those in the front a just about right. Hope it lasts as long as my last GE which was 7 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Okay refrigerator. Cheesy quality.

The face plate on the water dispenser is poorly designed. GE clearly went cheap. The overall size is okay and we do like the slate finish. However , the handles get messy and show every blemish. The wheels on the bottom are also very cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great size and features

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a 24 year old GE Profile side by side that still worked great. So far I'm very happy with it. It only took 6 hours to get to temperature and is very quiet running. Hopefully it will last as long as my older GE.
I would recommend this to a friend!
