We purchased this refrigerator about 6 weeks ago. It was similar to the one we replaced, but love the new features. Actual temps of freezer and fridge can be displayed. Ice cubes can be retrieved easily from the freezer container. Door dispenser for water and ice works great. The fridge part has tons of places to put the shelves so you can adjust them to fit your needs. Great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall we are please with the purchase. The slate grey finish is great. Only complaint is the ice cube and water dispenser. In ice cube mode (not crushed) there tends to be a bit of unwanted crushing. Also there is a lot of condensation at the dispenser and under the drip tray. This could be due to humidity in the house, but I would think these areas would be well insulated enough to prevent that.

bought in august 8 2017 the product started vibrating noise at the back of unit

Great refrigerator

We have had this refrigerator for several months now and we love it. It keeps everything good and cold and makes more then enough ice to meet our needs. We had some concerns when we first purchased it as it made a loud buzzing noise for the first several days that we owned it. After about two or three days it stopped making this noise. Apparently it has to do with reaching the correct temperature for storage. It would have been nice if there was a warning that it would make a loud buzzing noise as it adjusted in the owner's manual, if it had it would have saved several phone calls to the store that sold it to us, GE customer service and numerous google searches. It will periodically make this buzzing noise for short periods of time . It is quiet( except for an occassional buzzing) and well lit. We really like that we can see everything in it.

Overall nice looking appliance. Had some issues with the refrigerator Door shelf bin breaking and the top shelf does not get that cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this frig. to replace a 22 yr, old almond frig.which I thaught I would miss.This frig. is awesome. Very quite, can use all the space perfectly because of all the shelf adjustments. Ice/maker and water work perfect.If you are looking for a really nice side by side you won`t be disappointed. BUY IT !!!!

The ice maker broke after 2 months and it doesn't cool as quickly as my older model did.
