Superior Performance and Elegant Style

My wife and I purchased our new GE Profile refrigerator approximately six weeks ago. We had previously replaced all of our old appliances with new GE Profile products, except for the refrigerator almost a year ago when we moved into our condominium. Although the existing GE refrigerator was 17 years old, it was still working well and we decided to defer its replacement in order to purchase other furniture for our unit. After the installation of our new stainless steel GE Profile, our kitchen received a needed make-over. In addition to their superior performance, these products added elegance to the kitchen's overall appearance. My wife and I decided to donate our functioning GE refrigerator in order to purchase the remaining GE Profile product to complete our kitchen's transformation.

Lots of space inside

I bought this a month ago and am very happy so far. I needed a side-by-side so the doors wouldn't bang into our center island. The storage capacity is wonderful, the shelves allow visibility, and the freezer compartments are easily loaded and used. The thru-the-door water and ice features work well. When the fridge door is loaded, it doesn't close by itself. Not a problem, though.

OK refrigerator

Does not operate as quietly as I had hoped. In-door water and ice dispenser drips, causing concern regarding future door rust. This happened with my last GE side-by-side refrigerator. Interior LED lighting not as bright as I expected.

Nice Fridge

It's a great fridge. It's replacing my 20 yr old GE side by side. I'll miss the little cabinet maker door but I'll get get over it. It cooled down way sooner then the 24 hours they suggested. More like 8 hours. Based on my prior GE Refrigerator experience, I would recommend this product.

Poorly Lighted, LED's should be brighter.

Lighting in the refrigerator is poor!!! The shelves and drawers should be interchangeable in the center of the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
