DOORS WONT STAY SHUT

The doors will not seal tightly even when you push hard, they will sometimes reopen. They are still closed enough where the alarm does not go off but you can feel the cold air escaping/ water condenses on the outside of the fridge. We can't even return it because where will we put our food until the new one arrives? SO DISAPPOINTED we have to deal with this for 10 years until we get a new one. Also, fingerprints show SO MUCH
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quietness of the unit , LOOKS EXCELLENT

It was only installed today, but the features on this refrigerator are awsome.The unit
operates very quietly and the shelves are very easy to adjust, We love the Black Slate color.One of the feature's I enjoy the most is having the filter up near the top of the unit, ( easy to change the filter ) my previous unit it was under the door near the floor. Different Brand..

All the features you need at a good price

We replaced a GE side by side we had for 24 years with this one and glad we did. runs quite and keeps the temps where we set them. Have an RO water system which connected without an issue. The black stainless fits in with the rest of the kitchen.

I am very happy with the refrigerator. I did read reviews that stated problems such as noises, leaks. I have not experienced any problems at all. Ice maker works well too.

I am really happy with this product! Its quiet, efficient use of space and power and it looks good! As the other reviews say, it does drip when you dispense water - I assume that would be hard to avoid when there is a water line into the container.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Refrigerator Runs all the time

I like the features, but the refrigerator runs all the time. The literature that came with it does say the high efficiency compressor may run longer, but I didn't expect it to run virtually all the time. Maybe it's something to get used to, but I wonder how efficient can this refrigerator be and how long can it last if it's running constantly.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

It is sad that GE decided to skimp on the lighting. This model comes with LED lights which are quite dim. When I saw this unit at an appliance showroom the lighting looked adequate due to the stores surrounding lights, but once in my kitchen I was so disappointed; the lights are SO DIM! I am now looking to somehow modify the refrigerator with a regular bulb socket in place of the LED strip so that the refrigerator can be usable at night. GE would have had a great product if they didn’t cut costs on something as important as lighting.
