Overall, a very good choice to replace the Whirlpool that we had. Ice maker is a large unit that takes up freezer space, but not an issue for us. The refer door requires a push to shut as opposed to a weighted swing door. Very quiet unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not happy at all with the ice maker's behavior. it will surely need repair and that is not what I am looking forward to.

We were concerned about the storage space in a side-by-side refrigerator, but this GE model has plenty of room on both sides.

Quiet, Spacious, We’ll Designed

The most noticeable feature is the quiet operation. The unit backs up to our master bath wall, but we hear no vibration at night. The ice maker drops ice relatively quietly...total silence is too much to expect. The freezer holds pizzas stacked flat ( yeah, I know, probably not important to you, but it’s important to us. And just an aside, if you go away for two weeks, the ice doesn’t turn into a block and jamb the mechanism. All in all, things work the way they should.
