Broken door hinge

This fridge is not even 2 years old and the fresh food door is broken. Apparently there wasn't a door stop mechanism that kept the door from swinging all the way out, but we didn't notice it until after the 1 year warranty was up. At this point will probably have to pay to have it repaired when the issue was caused from either a poor design or a missing part in the door. Pay attention to your appliances in the 1st year! We have several rental houses that we put appliances in and have owned other brands and have never had anything fail as quickly as this. We won't be using GE appliances to replace current appliances in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. Great space design!
2. I can view the stored items clearly & immediately; not only safe my time and also easy for preparation of shopping in grocery store!

We really love our GE refrigerator. Now that I have my new GE refrigerator. Oh wow, what great water, great ice and great cool to cold water! Yeah!!!!

GE Refrigerator

I had not bought a refrigerator in 15byears, so many things had changed. The GSE25 HBLTS offered all that I needed and more. More than enough room especially in the freezer. I like very much the moveable door shelves. Great design!
