Terrible product

This refrigerator has not worked properly since I purchased in 2017. I tried to get GE to replace it but was not successful. It has been repaired by GE service tech several times but the refrigerator continued to malfunction. The icemaker has been replaced twice, condensation issues have been repaired more than once and the refrigerator door has been adjusted because it did not close tightly. I purchased only GE appliances for over 20 years but will definitely not buy another in the future. I am stuck with this lemon refrigerator until I buy another!

Works great… until it falls apart

Great interior layout and storage capacity. Like the digital temp control, ice maker, adjustable shelves.
Not built for the kind of use and abuse a large family puts it through. Cheap acrylic door-shelves crack and break. Produce drawers slide off rollers and fall apart, acrylic breaks. Meat tray seals ripped away. Dents and dings, hard water stains make it look junky.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my GE fridge!

I’ve had this fridge for over two years now. It’s quiet, keeps perfect temperatures, looks great, has an ice/water dispenser that works beautifully and I would definitely recommend this GE fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've had our ge appliances for 3 years and have had 2 major problems with 2 of them avoid ge at all cost

In the short time we have had the Fridge/Freezer we have had 2 failures. The first was complete lack of temperature control due to a failed Fan. Recently we now have a failed Icemaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
