I bought this a week ago. I had this fridge a week and lights on the right side of water dispenser are dead.and the cover of lights on the right side is missing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice appearance

The only feature we are concerned about is how both the fridge and freezer doors often do not close. When we shut either door it creates a small vacuum that prevents the other door from completely shutting so we constantly have to double check to make sure the doors shut completely.

We purchased this model as it was larger than my last. It is working out well for us. I like the roominess of it - both in the refrigerator and the freezer. There are 2 things that we do not care for but they wouldn't stop us from purchasing this item again.... 1. The light is somewhat delayed when you open the door and 2. the water from the automatic water dispenser is not chilled, which we think is REALLY weird. All in all, this is a great unit and we purchased it at a great price.

Nice looking

We've had it for three months now. There are only two of us I. The household. It am still constantly juggling things around inside. This particular model is too small in both the fridge and the freezer. It would never be big enough if we had a family. The doors have a lot of room in them, but takes away from shelf space. I thought it was the same cu ft as our old one but have trouble placing food and leftover containers where they are convenient. I do like the crisper drawers, but only use one on a daily basis. I also like the snack drawer. It is a good looking unit with the curved front. My husband has trouble with the ice and water. You have to keep the glass under the spout and hold it high up or it gets all over the floor. I don't find it particularly noisy like some other people have said. Just make sure you get a big one, if you need it.

Great interior compacity. I've only had it 1 week so far the fridge doesn't seem to keep the upper part and top door shelf as cold and the freezer is making tiny ice crystals. AND getting it level is a challenge and I don't know how to adjust the door swing, the freezer side slams wide open, does not stop swing or reclose and the fridge side slams shut on my elbow everytime I open it. The water dispenser already drips and its a little more noisy than my last GE... HELP PLEASE!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The smudge proof Slate finish sold me. I've had it for 3 months and have had no problems. Love the features you get for the price!
