I love the fridge itself, but they will have to replace the door on the right as it came with a flaw and the seal is faulty and doesn't seal correctly.

I had a GE Profile refrigerator 2 years old but it was the wrong color to match my new house. This particular GE profile is a little smaller in the freezer section but overall I like the way it runs and it's quiet. I like the ice maker it's bigger than most other brands. My one complaint is that the panel doesn't light up like my last one so it makes it impossible to see without turning on the kitchen light. Otherwise I would recommend this fridge.

GE Slate Refrigerator

This is my first side-by-side refrigerator. I thought it would have less space than my top freezer refrigerator, but I am pleasantly surprised with the amount of space! The multiple shelves make organization easy. It is also my first experience with a water/ice maker on the front. I really love this feature and have had no problems with it thus far. The refrigerator is generally quiet and has great lighting when you open it. I absolutely love the slate color! I didn't want the typical black or white and did not like all the smudges that will accumulate on a stainless steel appliance.

The refrigerator has been working great and the color is fabulous! We love the finish on the front- it stays nice and clean( doesn't show fingerprints) - the handle needs constant cleaning but I do have four kids So that might have something to do with it;) love it!!

I love this fridge!, beautiful color, good layout, quiet. Additionally it was one of the best values I found. My two previous side by sides were another popular brand that I had trusted for many years and both had issues repeatedly. I have had other GE appliances that performed well so I went with GE..
