Love the color

We were building a beach house and I was shopping for appliances I didn't want white, black, or stainless; I wanted option 4 whatever that was. A friend of ours sales appliances and recommended slate, which I had never heard of. We had a GE profile refrigerator in our residence - bisque in color - from the early 90's. The dang thing wouldn't quit running! I'm an accountant by trade and couldn't justify a new frig just for the color. Well....when we bought the appliances for the beach house we bit the bullet and bought a frig for our house too! It blends well with our black stove and dishwasher and it holds a lot of stuff. Just hope it lasts as long as our 'bisque' GE profile frig!

We bought the appliance in February. It performs beautifully. We especially like the status panel being on the outside. No need to open a door to check status.

We have had this unit for going on 2 months now and absolutely love it! The refrigerator is quiet, cools efficiently and looks wonderful in our kitchen.

After only 4 days I must say the unit is quite attractive, and functions as promised. There should be a better features operation manual. I was disappointed not to receive the can/bottle holder shelf for the door as was displayed. Overall there are no problems - hope it stays that way.

Love this Frig.

I brought this a month ago and I am so happy I researched and settled on this model. My last GE frig. lasted over 15 years maybe more. I have my first frig. downstairs and its probably 25 years old and still running great. I only wish the second frig. lasted longer. It keeps everything very cold and I have more than enough room. I wouldn't buy anything else but GE frig.'s.

Upgraded from previous refrigerator to get coordinated stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. New refrigerator looks great. The inside is well structured and organized with more than adequate shelves and arrangements. Front door touch panel looks great and the door alarm is a great feature. The water dispenser does flow a little more outwards than before so took a little getting used to, to avoid spilling water - the water does taste sweater than before. The freezer is a little smaller than before but better organized.
I would recommend this to a friend!
