Waste of money

this has to be the worse printer i have ever bought, used it a dozen times, when it would work and its out of ink. Try to print things and the printer just makes noises and runs and may or may not print, its like a game.

DO NOT PURCHASE!

Loved our first Canon printer and had for several years. When it broke the Canon representative recommended this printer. It is garbage and after just 4 months we are throwing it away. Always says paper jam when there is none. and the price of ink outrageous. Replaced Cryan 3 days ago, only use black since that time and now it says out of Cryan.

Absolutely worthless piece of plastic

I have owned this printer for approximately on year and it has never worked properly - not even on one occasion. This is the most frustrating piece of office equipment I have ever owned and I am finally trashing it. I can no longer stand to even look at it.

I've had this printer for about three years and from the beginning it prints very slow. And when I bought it I didn't know that you can't replace an ink cartridge until the machine tells you to. I just bought the magenta cartridge, tested it, and all was good. Two days later I can barely see a printed page. So.I wasted time and money. The black and yellow tank levels can't be detected and it's been that way for months. Time for a new printer.

I liked this when I first got it although I hate the fact you can't print with just black ink and when the color ink runs out you can't print, scan or fax. I feel like this is when the problems started. Now it will no longer scan from the touch screen if I can get it to scan at all. It continues to say it is not connected but it is connected by a USB cord. This machine was now a complete waste of my money because I mostly use it to scan and that won't work. Not matter what I try it is useless.

Good choice for home office

CANON MAXIFY MB2320 All-In-One printer. I am using this printer for my home office. I have the printer connected direct to my PC via the USB port although this printer supports WiFi and LAN connections as well. The initial out-of-box setup was easy but the setup from the CD was longer than expected. Mainly after the procedure to install the ink tanks. The printer then goes into a lengthy head cleaning/head alignment process. The entire setup did complete OK and without any issues. The printer has performed very well when setup and all operational. Print quality is excellent for both black/white and color. The different printing options and capabilities along with the availability to use different types media serve all of my home office needs. I have not done any color photo prints on photo paper so I cannot judge that quality. Duplex printing is sufficient but rather slow. The scanner option is very easy to use and performs very well. Scans are excellent quality and there are different options available for the output you desire. The FAX was very simple to setup and operate. I ran a test FAX to verify the functionality but I typically don’t use FAX that often. The actual printer size with the dual paper trays installed may seem bulky although having dual paper trays allows for more media capacity and options which offsets any negativity with the printer size. The operation panel controls are very easy to understand and use. The operation panel touch screen is laid out nicely and I like the ability to swipe/scroll and touch-to-select options. One slight drawback with the touch screen is that the screen is located front center of the top cover just above the indentation where you grasp to open the top cover. You can easily touch the screen when opening the cover. As for ink usage I haven’t reach an empty ink tank yet so I am unable to judge the ink consumption and therefore unable verify the accuracy of the ink tank status indicators from the touch screen and status monitor as well. There are two features that I personally wasn’t impressed with, the “Cannon Quick Toolbox’ and the online manuals. The ‘Cannon Quick Toolbox’ gets loaded during the setup. This program is functional but nothing too robust. Online manuals may be more suitable for others but not for my viewing preference. I downloaded the manual to view directly from my PC. Please understand these are my opinions and preference only. Overall the Cannon Maxify 2320 printer is an very good printer. The printer is quiet, prints one-sided quickly, and provides excellent quality printing. The many selectable features, functions, large media capacity, and overall performance make this printer a great choice for office and home use. I would definitely recommend this printer to others.

The printer does it all. The quality is superior to any other printer I have ever owned. It is so fast. It was easy to assemble and user friendly. The manual was clear and concise and made for ease of operation. I would recommend this printer for business and home use. It takes the place of many items and can do it all. My whole family uses it and I use if for both personal and business use. The wireless capability makes it simple and all those sloppy wires are gone. Way to go Cannon. This machine is a winner in my book !
