Color Printing
on March 14, 2016

Just printed a color picture on glossy paper. The picture came out OK but the paper had visible "Crease Lines." These lines ran horizontally across the entire page, and spaced about one half inch apart from top to bottom. I printed it three times with the same result. Bummer!

Drinks ink

I read the reviews... I had no problems setting it up, nice quality (for price range), works fine with my home WIFI.. so why the 2.... drinks ink and it is a pain when one color is out... all function s are inoperable... ink is also pricey. Would not want even a free Canon after this unless it came with a supply of ink.

They don't work well

I bought a MB2320 and I only used it for personal. I only used it three times a week, and suddenly, an orange light turned in. The first time I fixed, watching videos on Youtube, and it helped me a lot, but then, it happened again and again & I just tired of it. Don't buy this printer at least it has 5 years warranty (Never).

Good quality printer
on July 27, 2015

I've been using this printer/scanner for a couple of weeks now and I am overall impressed. Here's a quick summary:
Pros: *Very easy set up. Including getting it out of the box, you'll be up and running in about 15 minutes (includes test printing and cartridge alignment). I didn't even use my computer for the set up, just followed prompts on the printer's LCD screen to set it up and connect to WiFi. Once connected to WiFi, it integrated seamlessly with my 2013 Mac Air (OSx Yosemite) and 3rd generation iPad.
*Excellent print quality. Vibrant colors. True black. Crisp lines without any bleeding or feathering.
*Scanner is good quality, ADF didn't get jammed even when the pages I was scanning were less than perfect.
*Two paper trays! AWESOME! I hate running out of paper in the middle of a job.
*Wireless printing. If you don't already have it, it will change your life.
Nothing Specials: *Speed is acceptable, not impressive but not disappointing.
*Noise is about what one should expect from an inkjet.
Cons: Nothing really "con" to say, except some personal preferences regarding the printer design.
*As a cat owner, I want a printer that doesn't have any visible moving parts to attract the curious kitty. This one has a roller in the back that's visible and just waiting to be pawed at. Can be positioned to avoid the cat, but doesn't solve my next point...
*There are too many ways for dust/cat fur to get into the working parts of the machine. For example, there's no fold-down cover for the ADF, leaving its moving parts out in the open to collect dust. I only print occasionally and prefer a product that can be closed to keep dust out.
Bottom line: Excellent choice for a home office or small office with lots of printing to do.

Fast and Quiet!

I have owned the Maxify MB-2320 for five months. Printing is fast and quiet. I love that the last page prints first and the first page prints last so there is no rearranging of pages needed. Just remove from the printer and go! Scanning and copying is also a fast process for this machine. For the price paid, it can't be beat!

Strange machine...

I bought this machine about 6 months ago. In the beginning, everything worked fine. But after about 3 months, things started getting weird. First, it wouldn't print a simple B&W page without leaving light spots or missing spots in standard mode. Switching to the high-dev mode solved the problem but at the expense of extra ink. Speaking of which, when you want to change cartridges, it will only let you do it when it is good and ready (yes, there's a backdoor way to override the machine, but why???). A user should be able to change cartridges whenever they want to, even if the cartridge is still (supposedly) 50% full. The machine's latest problem has me also gnashing my teeth. Now, whenever I go to print something, it immediately jams - forcing me to go through the whole "cancel print, clear jam, re-start print" routine. And by the way, the "jam" is always 2 pieces of paper, not one. The first comes out with a little wrinkle, but the second comes out virgin new. What's up with that? Oh, and that envelope printing think the other poster mentioned? It's true! You can't properly position the return address on a regular envelope with this printer - why??? Yes, I was fooled by its pretty face, the Canon reputation, and multi-function capability. But I think I'm done with Canon - this was a bad experience and I won't be going down this road again.
