Original review was rejected by Canon. This printer chews through ink pretty quick. I have used 3 sets of ink to print 206 pages.

It went through all 3 color ink cartridges in 2 weeks and they were NOT the "setup" cartridges.

Very difficult to set up. Takes for ever to make a copy. This is the second printer I've owned by Canon and my last. Same issues with the first printer but the salesman kept recommending Canon. Technology is getting less and less user friendly. Stick to their cameras, but avoid the printers.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PRINTER I HAVE EVER HAD. This is the most un-user-friendly machine i've encountered in my life. What is Hagaki? Well you better know if you want to use this because every time you go to print it will make your register your paper and then it sends all your info to Cannon via the internet. The screen gives lots of error messages and you simply cannot print until you comply with it's orders. With only a few months use, it already is producing black smudges on the paper. Stay away! I'm buying another Epson.

Worst purchase I have ever made in the printer category. I put in new ink cartridges and it immediately told me they were empty. It processes everything for 20 minutes before actually responding. I Hate It.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. IT WILL NOT RECOGNIZE WHEN THE INK CARTRIDGE IS EMPTY AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FORCE THE INK CARTRIDGE OUT RENDERING THIS PRINTER USELESS!

At the time this seemed like a pretty good deal. Now .... not so much. As indicated in other reviews, cleaning cycles will drain one or more of the color inks even if you only print black all the time. Once one color is out, you can't print anything else. Secondary issue is ordering online. I have ordered ink through Canon and had the order fail twice in a row. But now my Paypal account is sitting with a "pending" amount to pay Canon, but there is no order pending to ship. I may have to cancel the order through Paypal. Next printer I buy will have to be something other than Canon.
