Haven't used the steam option yet, but I have very large blankets that I wash and knowing this dryer can handle the load is perfect. Both my daughters have LG washers and dryers. We are a total LG laundry family.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

It is very quiet. I like the different drying choices and especially the steam feature- takes out wrinkles easily.

Plenty of features for everyone. Haven't tried them all but the ones I have used work fine. Large capacity and makes less noise than previous dryer. Nice musical alert when load is finished. Has steam feature but didn't try it out yet. So far everything works as it should.

MATCHES MY LG WASHER

This dryer works well. I bought it because I wanted the wrinkle release steam feature. This machine doesn't connect to a water line for steam... instead you pour water into a tray located on the top left drawer of the machine. The only problem is that when you try to use the steam feature you get clothes with big splotches of water all over them instead of wrinkle free. All is does during the wrinkle release is release large puddles of water on the garment you are trying to get wrinkle free. Not a very handy feature.
It does look nice though and the cute little song it sings when finished is pleasant.

I bought this dryer a few weeks ago and it is decent. ONE thing I don't like is when I use the automatic setting the dryer is supposed to turn off when clothes are dry and it keeps turning off automatically but the clothiers are still a little wet....so annoying. Then I have to use the manual setting. It has an antibacterial steam feature which is nice as I placed dry clean only curtains inside the dryer without washing them to kill any germs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

purchased 11/2/2015 White and it is so appealing. Makes my laundry room look a lot bigger then the colored washer & dryer I had before.
