[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the washer for almost 2 months and so far so good. I have only had the chance to use the steam feature once but mainly because it adds time to the washing load. This is my first front load and I am trying to get use to the changes. We typically leave the door and soap dispenser open to avoid smells which we hear are issues from family members (non product specific) so we have done so and have not had any issues on that front.
I picked the unit based on the size, we had very few selections when it came to depth and this one was just a hair larger than my top loader that I had previously, all of the others were much larger.
My only downside of the front loading is that I have noticed a few grass clippings, fur, or other items building up on the door sill gasket (kids) and I can only assume this is a typical cleaning thing, but it is another thing to add to my list of things to do.
Overall a good product so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After including my old set with the sale of my home, I was on the search for a new set. I looked at most brands but found I was always comparing them to my LG set that I loved. Decided to cut the chase and return to LG for my new set. I have been just as happy with these as I was the first set - top quality in all areas!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a lot of research , but everything pointed to these units albeit for a little more money. They were top rated in many ways, including reliability...and then, Black Friday and some rebates were the ultimate deal-maker. The limited edition metallic Wild Cherry Red color was a standout from the crowd for me, plus, it made the perfect gift surprise for my red-wild laundry lover! SOOO many compliments on the style and looks from others! It's a washer/dryer combo!! (Rumor has it the color will be discontinued!?! Score!) It hasn't hurt the pair have cut her wash day time in 1/2 with much better results. Large loads and a considerable range off cycles and wash/dry options are accomplished by very quiet operation. The steam features are awesome...and the sidekick pedestal washer is a convenient cost and time saver as well. And it doesn't hurt it sounds a sweet, melodious chiming tune when a load is dry! She laughs doing her laundry now! She loves that tune. So much better than a grating buzzer, don't you think. A great buy I'm sure we'll BOTH enjoy for many years. What a great choice and a great buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NFC worked great on the washer, a little flakey on the dryer. The online product registration could be simplified to scan a barcode, rather than just a link to a website for manual data entry. As far as laundry, as I stated, the wife is happy. Isn't that what really matters?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer works really well and is easy to use. The only complaint I have is that the sensor does not work if there are too few items in the dryer
