[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that I accidentally posted my washer review on the dryer, so to continue the tradition I am posting my dryer review on the washer, since it will not let me post twice.
I have had this for over 2 months and I am enjoying the dryer. We needed to buy a new washer and we decided to get the LG set of washer and dryer. We have been happy with the new dryer and the features. I was surprised at how much different my clothes smell with the new dryer. I assume it must get hotter than my previous one (which was a whirlpool but I had no complaints on) and that temperature must bake that fabric softener smell into the clothes.
I have only used the steam function a couple of times and haven't quite figured it out. I would typically use something like that in the mornings when I have a wrinkled shirt and I want to dry it to get the wrinkles out. When I did use it, I am pretty sure that it is for an entire load because my shirt was completely wet after 10 minutes. I had to turn it to regular dry and the process took another 10 minutes to dry. I would like to see a single shirt steam function for the daily morning dryer, that would be beneficial to those trying to get out with a wrinkle free shirt in the morning. So while I am still figuring the steam function out, it seems beneficial but I have not had time to use it to the fullest.

We especially like the ease of modifying the dryer times and trmperature. The machines continue to perform over the years. Our last set was eight years old and functioning great when we sold our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems to be very high quality. The washing times are adequate and the loads you can put in are very large. It can get loud at times and when it spins a medium-large load the laundry room shakes (with balanced and leveled washer). There are no smart-home features, so no pairing to WiFi to see if your laundry is done. The NFC (Android only) is a bit of a joke as it only ascertains issues and sets a "custom laundry cycle". Why you would want to pull out your phone, login to the app, setup a customer laundry routine, and then make sure that the NFC info is transmitted to the washer is a waste of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought ours, matching washer and dryer, 2 weeks ago. I've used them a lot in that time to try and "wear them in" and make sure they perform well. I was highly skeptical with the washer, being that we were taking the plunge from top loaders to our first front loader. I have not been disappointed. The washing cycles perform better than the last 2 washers we've owned. Everything is so clean and fresh, and even some old stains that I thought would never come out have lessened in appearance. We had to adjust and level the legs after delivery because it wobbled initially, but once it was leveled properly it's been nearly silent and very still during its cycles, which is wonderful. At the moment I have no cons to report on it. The true test will be to see if it lasts me 10 years or more. As a side note, I do have to take into consideration the fact that the washing cycles are much longer than old school versions, especially when you start using all the wonderful add on options, like steam, etc. Perhaps some people may not like that, but I think the lengthy cycle just proves that the cleaning capability is quite superior when compared to a machine that washes quickly.
