We bought it to go with our new washer. So glad we did. Dries clothes quickly and has several options for temperature control.

Day One Metal to Metal Front Cover Squeak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After rebuilding, we sold our 13yo LG dryer and bought this updated model. With flimsy feeling cab, the front cover squeals when we move the door and while trying to level on the pedestal. The pedestal is full and weighted, doesn't move. Too much flex in the cabinet allows the MTM from the bottom cover rests, ha. Drying the machine makes the usual noise, drys well, etc. LG, plastic insulators would have prevented this. Should prob email me!

Hey RickJ64, thanks so much for the feedback. That is helpful to know and we have sent the information to our R&D Team for review. ^AC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about a month ago and it is a great dryer. It holds a large load and dryers most heavy loads in 50 minutes. The new technology is also great. You have the option of downloading a specific cycle that is not included in the programming of your machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the dryer for almost a month now. It is easy to use and works very well. This is not the first LG appliance we have had. We have been very pleased with the quality and functionally of all of them. They just get better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago because my old dryer took forever to dry anything although we did try to fix it. This LG dries everything -towels, work clothes, whatever- lickety-split! I don't have to keep adding 15, 30, ++ minutes to a cycle to finally get things dry. The selections (permanent-press, bulky, etc) are accurate for drying times and degree of "done". (It dried a king-size electric blanket on the first go around.) The lint filter is larger than ones I have had in other dryers, so I presume it is catching more lint. So, bottom line.. does the job and does it well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for refreshing men’s suits, anything that I normally dry clean. Also, if things don’t get taken out of the dryer right away I can put them on a steam cycle and dewrinkle them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a 10+ year old LD steam dryer. It still worked great, but the matching washer was wearing out. Got this one to replace it about 2 months ago and it is just as good. Didn't get the pedistal this time and the only thing I miss is the storage in the pedistal. Drys clothes well and quickly. I do 5+ loads a week for a family of 4. Huge drum for drying king sized comfortors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time owning a front load dryer and so far I really like it. I'm still getting use to it and what settings works best for my needs. I thought dryer would be a little more quiet than what it is as it makes a thumping sound when running. Thought maybe it was the clothes but it makes this noise even with nothing in it.
