Doesn't get warm on cotton/normal setting. Other heat sensing setting it shuts off before clothes are dry. T shirts come out wrinkled.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the worst dryer I have ever had!!!!

This dryer does not dry clothes, it stops constantly, and has never worked like it should. I had a LG before and it was fine, so I purchased another when we moved. I am very disappointed in it and would never buy another LG product again.

Great Value for money

When we first got the Washer we where worried about the amount of water it didn't use. Got the clothes clean, saves money on water and electric. I gave Five stars across the board, not to be generous but to be genuine in this case worth every star!
Pros: Performance, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would actually give the washer a 4.5. Everything works great, installation was easy, and I can barely hear it run. It has a low hum to it which contrasts to my old wash/dryer. The DOWNSIDE is the smell. It's not obnoxious, but it is noticeable. Not sure what is going on. The clothes smell great. We leave the door open to the washer to prevent mold. Maybe its the drain? Anyways, I'm very happy with my purchase!

I bought this dryer because I wanted to save money by stop going to the cleaners. It doesn't dry clothes properly and runs and runs! When the clothes eventually dry, they are very crushed. With my old dryer I could use the permanent press option instead of ironing. I can't do it with this one. The steam cycle doesn't work either. I regret buying this product!

I Am Not Happy With This Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, the dryer is making squeaking noises when it dries but the dryer is only a few months old. I guess that means call a repair person and deal with the warranty. The controls are complicated even if you try to follow the directions. it seems impossible to take out an item and have the dryer continue on the selected cycle. I have to restart the cycle when I close the door. For most cycles you cannot control the time but the "dry" senson doesn't always work. The cycle-over tone is too soft so I have to set a timer when I'm in another part of the house. I miss my old dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the washer and dryer based on the excellent reputation of LG. Also, I used a similar set while living in Juneau this winter and loved their operation. Unfortunately one can't "test drive" these appliances in the store before buying and if they are on the showroom floor, most often they are not plugged in. So to my utter surprise, the first time using them in our home I discovered the dryer has a drum light, but the washer does not! We went back to the store where we purchased them and the clerk looked online and told us this model of washer doesn't come with a drum light (which one would expect) but the matching dryer does. What kind of nonsense is that? I like the operation of the appliances very much and would recommend them to others, but I am very, very disappointed with the lack of illumination in the washer. It's nearly impossible to see dark socks or other (particularly small) clothing without nearly putting my head in the drum. Who would think that in this day and age one would have to look at an option list on a front loader to see if it has a light inside? I am very disappointed!!!

Washes well but loud when starts out

I like the features it offers and must admit I was skeptical about purchasing a front loading washer. The only complaint is that it is loud whenever you first turn it on and it is pumping the water through the hose into the machine. Whenever it is washing, however, it is quiet.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
