Great dryer but now ruining clothes!

Great dryer but now ruining clothes! For the last few weeks my mothers have been catching on the lint filter (which will not go all the way down into the trap). They twist while drying and get ruined.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New dryer installed installed for about a month. Yet to dry my first load. Error code for vent yet we just had all the vents cleaned prior to installing the dryer. Still waiting for a technician. Second dryer from LG we’ve had problems with. Once you get them working they are efficient.

Pros: ease of use, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality
We enjoyed the dryer's performance for almost 3 years. For some odd reason, the lent filter stopped fitting properly whereas it protruded about 1/4" above its housing. As such, some clothing items got stuck on the lent tray, were twisted badly and caused the entire load of clothes to get twisted as well. The items that got caught on the lent tray were often twisted so badly that they could not be worn again. Lastly, the heater malfunctioned at the same time, replaced May 4, does not heat at all, and the repairman is scheduled to return on May 12, 2021.
