[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second LG washer/dryer combo I've purchased. This first was for my condo. This one is for my new home. Set up is easy. No venting is needed and it uses a standard electrical outlet. It washes and dries clothes very well and the smaller unit is ideal for a single person. My only complaint is that they don't make a pedestal for it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incredibly Efficient at Cleaning Ground in Dirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the steam washer WM3370HWA along with companion DLEX3070W steam dryer originally intending to stack. But when I saw the SideKick pedestal mini washer I decided to put the dryer on a pedestal and purchase the SideKick. This dryer is very large capacity and dries very quickly. It's quiet to use and with the steam feature and optional dryer rack I'm very happy with my decision. This washer offers ALL the options I would look for in a perfect HE washer…beyond combinations of soil, spin, water temp, second rinse, this washer offers me the added options of adding more water, steam and programmable programs I may want to add in the future. It's a joy to use and gets my clothes SO CLEAN, extracts water in the spin to near dry without a wrinkle. I love my new LG steam washer. It is perhaps the BEST washing machine I've ever used in the past 30 years and I've owned many high-end appliances. I couldn't rate my new laundry appliances other than PERFECT. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence.

Very clean clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this machine now for six weeks. I bought my first LG front loader over nine years ago and it still works, my son has it now. Being European I had used front loaders all my life and was disappointed with the top loaders in USA since the wash quality is not the same.
This new LG is using even less water than the previous one and needs even less detergent, generally 1/4 of the amount the detergent container instructs. Since the clothes get more friction than in top loaders the results are much cleaner with less detergent. I also try to be as green as possible and living in hot Texas consider drying clothes outside much smarter choice than using dryer that just ends up heating the air I already have to cool down with air-conditioning. But I like to use hot water for towels and bed linens and find the steam cycle perfect for that.
I am very allergic to detergents and until I found out how little detergent I need I ended using extra rinse and spin option. The people that complain about the soap in rinse cycle just use too much soap and need to use only a fraction of the amount they used with top loaders and try different cycle options to find out what works for them.
I also like the custom setting option for my most used loads.
My laundry is sparkling white and fresh smelling.
