[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want long lasting dependable appliances, don't buy LG products. They are designed with planned obsolesce in mind. LG's marketing plan appears to sell you a new, expensive appliance frequently. In order to do that the appliance they sell you must fail shortly after its "warranty" expires and the cost to repair the appliance will not be cheap. the repairs will be such that even a gifted owner will not be able to repair the unit

We have had our LG washer for some 8 years now and it is still working like a champ. It is really a workhorse and does a wonderful job with all different types of clothes and settings. We recently had solenoids replaced to correct some minor leaking in the tub but the machine itself is still performing like brand new. We love LG products and will definitely buy again when the time comes.
