This washer doesn't do cold rinses for all cycles

I am extremely disappointed in this washer. It says it has all cold rinses, but it doesn't. I had a trained LG technician out to deal with another problem, and he told me that even though the machine and the instruction book say all cold rinses, the machine, in fact, uses both hot and cold water for the rinse cycles except on "delicates" and "hand wash wool." So my dark colored permanent press clothes get rinsed in warm water, which fades the colors. I will never buy another LG washer because of this issue. If I could afford to, I would buy some other brand right now.

I have to run my dryer for 60 to 80 minutes to dry the clothes. Washer spin cycle is terrible in all settings. The clothes are still full of water and heavy. Hate this product.

After year decades with the competators

This machine is all it said it was and then some. was intimidated by the instruction book but after reading it and the instalation of the machine it is a lot more than I was hoping for it ran so quiet and hardly any vibration the perks I got I will put this machine up against any top line machine

Love my new LG washer! I'm a truck driver and occasionally get grease stains on my clothes. I pretreat the stain before I wash and grease is gone. Nice large capacity. Much less noise than previous washer. I wipe down inside of door when finished and run a clean cycle every month or so and there are no funky odors. Haven't used all of the different programs, but the ones I have used all seem fine.

I never wanted a front load washer because of all the negative issues regarding smell, having to run a beach through them to keep them clean etc. I was shown how the new front loaders are so effiecient and the issues have been addressed. If I had not watched the delivery men hook up the washer to water and test run it I would think they had forgot. This washer uses so little water compared to my 15 year old top load. I love how quiet it is, the magnet that holds the door ajar and the delay option!
I am really happy I went for it and bought an upper end unit as I will have this for a long, long time. You can't go wrong. Good job LG. You have made a believer in your product and company

great features, poor performance

i was excited to purchase a new LG washer and Dryer, Within the first 2 weeks, i had the very professional and knowledgeable repair person out to correct water leakage to no avail. It appears there is a design flaw that permits water to drip from the top front and down the inside glass to the floor. I will say that LG company is standing by the product and is replacing the unit. I hope for the best when it arrives in 10 days.
