Great capacity and are my clothes clean

Uses very little water. Uses very little electricity. Very good capacity (now I need to replace my dryer!). Extremely quiet operation. Clothes are nicely wrung out by the spin cycle. Like the sanitary cycle. In short I'm very, very happy with this washer I have now had for 6 months and would certainly recommend it to friends. However, I have three fairly minor issues:
(1) Water valves close with a "BANG!". Attached anti-hammer devices and now it's just a "bang".
(2) Cycles are looooong (typical of front loaders)
(3) I can't find a way to pause the cycle to throw in a forgotten item

Likes-We purchased our washer and dryer about two months ago. Love the style,size and it's energy efficient. Washes reallly well. I would recommended these purchase to someone we know. Thank you Lg.
Dislike- LG this is not your fault but I want to warn a customer or two just in case this happens. To anyone that may purchase these products. Please make sure that the hookup crew that connects the washer that the hose is secured. This is so the water is not all over the floor from working out of the drain hole during spin cycle.:(

I was disappointed in this washer. I washed some items that had a slight smell with other clothes and after the machine washed the load for over an hour the smell remained. Also the clothes after the spin (even high spin which I kept setting it to) were still very damp and it took the dryer over two hours to dry my clothes. The door of the washer was always dripping water after the loads. I returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in August 2015 so have been using for 6 mo. Does not handle blankets or bulky items well even on bulky setting. Cleans ok but not great as long as it is on the 1 hour~ wash setting. The speed wash settings are nice but only good with things that are not heavily soiled. Have noticed increase in noise levels over the past 6 months. Not as impressed as I thought I would be for the price. The dryer is also mixed. The standard setting does not fully dry even if the driest setting is used. Notice that it seems to cool a long time yet the clothes are not fully dry. This is on the one hour setting so dry times are higher than in my previous dryers. For the price I would recommend something else. Whistles & bells don't help if the product does not complete the basics well.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is amazing how much cleaner and softer my clothes feel since I started using this washing machine 3 weeks ago. The quality of this machine is unbelievable! It is very quiet also. Love all the features that are available on this machine. I have never owned a front load washer before and I don't think I will ever go back to a top load again. Very easy to reach the clothes since I am not very tall. I highly recommend this machine to everyone!
