Clothes come out very tangled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My clothes, especially bed sheets, come out very tangled. Also, I don't like it that I can't add a piece of clothing shortly after the wash cycle has started like I could with a top load washer.

Excellent with a Caveat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG front load washer (and dryer) and I am very pleased. First one was used for 10 years without a problem and performed flawlessly. My current 3370 washer is two years old and also flawless except that the printing on the function buttons ("water plus" in particular) has completely rubbed off. This happened within the first 6 months of use. Completely unacceptable. I had to use my label maker to relabel the button. Buttons on appliances should be permanently engraved with their functions.

i bought this unit 2.5 Years ago and it simply stopped working, it started to make big noises and then went dead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer we had was oversold .We are two and it lasted 6 years . They sold it as a ten year warranty. When it goes out Ofcourse the parts that fail are not covered !

Love the quick wash time

We did a lot of looking to find a washer that would be a great fit for our large family. I love that most loads wash in under 30 minutes. I also love the tub clean and towels feature. I can wash about 15 pairs of jeans in one load. When you are washing for a family of six, this is a definite feature to have! If you are looking for a dependable washer then this is a great one!

I think this washer does not use enough water to adequately clean the clothes and especially not to rinse them well. I use less than 1/2 the proper detergent and there is still soap in the clothes when finished. Also,I find the washing time is long compared to my old top loader and the filter is hard to clean. I do not like having to leave the door open and cleaning the rubber sealer after each wash. This is my first experience with a front loader and I would not buy another nor would I recommend one to someone. Overall, I am extremely disappointed.

Good Features But ?

I have had the WM2277 HS for 7 years and here is what I found. Features are good and everything works as shown. The problem is that these machines with only moderate use, Fail . The bearings and Spider Shaft wears and the seal leaks. The replacement parts are almost the price of a new one. If you added the labor for installing the parts its not worth it. So, Bad engineering brings down the overhaul savings in water and convenience. Not such a good deal after all. Leaking water valves , ok, front seal leaks ok. But the rest makes this unit ugly. Sorry LG, no more of your products in this household !
