It was action packed with twisting plots and evolving characters that explained alot of the holes the first 3 terminators left out. Also it is a great movie for someone who has not seen the terminator series cause it raps it up with no loose ends in my oppinion.
What's great about it: Good plot, good acting and a twist
What's not so great: Nothing if you like terminator series

My experience so far with blue ray is you need light in the movie. Cartoons seem to be the best, although harry potter was playing at the store on blue when i bought one. This move is is dark, and you don't get to appreciate a lot of the dvd the blue shows. Maybe the future "green ray" (biodegradeable disks) will work better for darker movies...
What's great about it: special effects.
What's not so great: Its dark not a lot of contrast, hence why not so valuable as a blue ray.

My son wanted it for Christmas. He saw it in the theater and loved it. The blu ray was a very nice copy. Not my kinds of movie, but he liked it and that's what counts.

Love the movie, especially in the blu-ray format. Didn't get to see it in the big screen, but the blu-ray format makes up for missing it in the big screen. Action is very good, the special effects, speechless. The only thing I didn't like was role of John Connor's wife. They are suppose to be in a war. Everybody looks like they haven't shower for days but John Connor's wife is always well dress, even has time to put on her make up. Besides that, the movie was great. Just regret that didn't get to see it in the big screen
What's great about it: Good story line, good action, great special effects

This was a great movie, Terminator salvation was gritty and dark overall and I Gave it 4 stars because it seemed like it was lacking something, what it waslacking more classic Terminators, though I think they might have this in the next installment. Athey ommited the human experiments.
What's great about it: The special effects and Dark mood
What's not so great: Needed more classic Terminator action and human experiment scenes

the Terminator franchise gets back on the right track with TS. Bale, Worthington and the rest do a great job of bring tension and interest to the story. BluRay is a great vehicle for the amount of special effects and director's cut. Movie does succumb to a bit of T3 cheesiness in the end...but if you can move past that, this dvd is a great addition to any action lover's blu Ray library
What's great about it: Terminator on Blu-Ray, Bale and Worthington, lots of splosions! Great action ride.
What's not so great: short on special features, last 10 mns of movie is cheesy

Original theme still solid complete with subtle biplays but with a twist. Main empathy is switched to the machine subcharacter. First viewing is good. Subsequent viewings allow references to prior episode catch lines to have a greater impact and to tie strands together. Some are very obvious, some more oblique. It's fun to look for the less obvious.
What's great about it: Great action. Interesting twist to main character theme.
What's not so great: Would be lost without prior releases
