The case itself is very nice. I like the plug protector. But, the filmy clear cover for the glass doesn't stay on very well. I've tried several times to get the bubbles out without luck, and now the edges are starting to peel off. Disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wish it came in defender series

I am a girl on the go, always working, or running or just driving around. This phone is perfect when I want to run out and grab lunch and not have to worry about carrying my purse around. I can even fit this in some of my run outfits so it's perfect!!! I love having a heavy duty phone case cause I am a clumsy person and if I am not falling, my phone is. This case can withstand me, so I think it can withstand the average user.
The only down side I have found is the card pouch pops open now and again when I drop it. I worry that my cards will fly out on of these days. Building it into the defender series might give it that extra nudge to not do that, or at least give me the idea it is doing better

I bought it about three weeks ago and the inside part of the case gets so dirty so easily. I cannot keep it clean. I get that cases will get dirty but it shouldn't get so dirty that it won't come off.

Just what I needed, but.......

Ive used several wallet cases. This one is the most thought out, practical and stylish yet. As a person on the go (bus to train, rental car to rental car, city to city hotel to hotel. I find myself needing my phone for texting, directions, appointments reminders, scheduling, Yelp, oh and conversation. Therefore I am constantly pulling out my visa card, and most times ID (I am African American and I am jumping from car to car) TMI. Therefore I need my phone for recording and my ID for proof of who I am. Yes its true. This case has made it easier for me to have all three available at one time and look cool doing it. There's only one thing I wish Otter would do. Please incorporate a battery into the case. It may be a little bulky, but it would be gangbusters. I would have it all in one unit. And after Apple Pay gets more popular i would be able to get rid of one card.

A relatively short amount of time of consistent use should see that compartment door of your Commuter Wallet begin to ease up a bit. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

I've had this case for about four months now and honestly, it has been the best investment ever. As a female always on the run this case/wallet is the best option for me since I hardly keep up with my purse, especially when I am going out on a Saturday night. Definitely recommended.

Disappointed

This is my first Otterbox purchase and I can't say I'm too happy about it.
The slipcover fit fine except for the audio port. I read one of the responses that the audio port is supposed to be partial covered while retaining functionality but I haven't found that to be the case. I've tried multiple earbuds, including the stock earbuds that come with the iPhone 6, and I haven't been able to comfortably fit any of them into the port without force.
The card tray is nearly impossible to open and close. I basically have to grip the phone with both hands and use my thumbs to exert pressure to get the tray to budge. Closing the tray is even worse. I actually have to smash my phone onto a hard surface in order to get the tray to click into place. I understand it might be rigid at first but I've been trying to open and close the tray repeatedly to see if it'll loosen up but it hasn't gotten better.
Overall, I thought this would be a good product because my friends recommended this brand but I think I'll be looking elsewhere for my next case.

As for the headphone port cover, it is actually by design that you pull this back to insert the headphone jack. The small opening is actually for the noise-canceling microphone.
