Bulky but sturdy

The case is bulkier than I thought it would be. The card holder is difficult to slide out and back in but the tight fit means it will not accidentally open either. The cards are not easy to slide out either. This case is very rugged and gives a lot of protection to the phone.

Flimsy and not sure if I am missing something

This is so flimsy on the bottom and it feels like the case is a little too big. Not sure if I am missing a piece or I was supposed to order it in conjunction with something else. All my family have Otterbox cases, and different types, but I am thoroughly disappointed. If I should have bought another item, it was not mentioned in the product description.

The Commuter does indeed come with two different pieces: the rubber slipcover stretches around the phone, and then there is a hard outer shell that locks it in by snapping on the back. I bought this a few weeks ago. The parts do not fit snugly, there are gaps and places where the hard case pulls away from the rubber case. Also, the hard case pulls away from the back of the phone. Not a precision fit, but it will do the job well enough.

I had a GREAT Otter Box for my I-Phone 5. I loved the rubber outer case was easy to grip and hold on too. This new one I got has a smooth outer case and is VERY slippery. I am always thinking of dropping the phone. I would not have bought if I saw it first on hand. Sorry for mr this is a no go!
