I bought this case for my phone because I'm clumsy, didn't want anything too bulky.
I dropped my phone, from 5+ feet in the air, onto concrete, SEVERAL TIMES.
It was fine, but after the last few drops the outer shell cracked, well worth it, just bought another one and my case was as good as new!
Keep in mind this is just the shell, you need the plastic undershell also, but pretty sweet they offer replacements so you can mix and match colors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received my case and cover recently, and was disappointed in the material. I wanted a cover that has resistance like the defender rubber. The computer rubber is slippery and does not allow me a good grip on my phone, which is the reason I wanted the cover.
The defender is too bulky, and I didn't want all of those components.
I'm keeping the case and cover, but not because I'm satisfied with it, but because of a lack of other options.
Otterbox products are good; but I would suggest making the commuter series with the same components in the defender series.

Broken 6 months after purchase

About six months after I purchased this case I dropped it just right and the case broken completely through the plastic on the bottom corner. Until then it had been great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best case I ever purchased

Best case I had for my Iphone 5s and 6s. I'm a huge dropper and my screen never once cracked. I love the convenience of having my cards and drivers license in one place. All I need when I leave my house are s my phone and keys.
