No. The Sirius Stratus is not a stand alone radio. You have to play it through a head unit radio, either through the FM band or through an auxiliary jack. The original radio in the 2004 Jeep Wrangler does not have an auxiliary jack, so you would have to set up the Sirius Stratus to send out an FM signal, which would be picked up by the Jeep's radio on the FM band. Honestly, the FM method does not work very well, as your Sirius Stratus FM signal usually gets overpowered by local FM radio stations. It is better to use the auxiliary jack connection method. In your case, you would have to put in a new radio in your Jeep; one with an auxiliary jack. This is not as expensive as it sounds. Almost every after-market radio has an auxiliary jack. There are some very nice low end radio units, and with an installation kit and a wiring kit, it would not be difficult to put in a new head unit radio in your Jeep. Many Best Buy stores have automobile installation shops, and they can install it for you, or they can help you get an install kit and wiring kit and help answer your questions.
