Plug the Flash Drive into the computer's USB port, then open (left click twice) "this PC" from your desk top icons and it should be listed there. Mine shows as "PKBACK #001. Double Left-Click on it to open. Move your mouse arrow over to the right side of that open screen, Right click in the blank-white area to get a drop down list. One of them should be labeled "NEW". Move your mouse to NEW and then select FOLDER from the list on the Right. Re-name the folder to something that is meaningful to you. Double left click it to open.
Back on the left side of your computer should still be showing "this PC" and the summary content list below it. You can left-double-click folders there to open them ... things like "DOCUMENTS" or "PICTURES" You can now copy folders or files from the left side (under "this PC) to the right side under the new flash drive folder.
One way to do it is to Right click on the folder/file you want. A list of actions will appear, such as COPY or CUT. To COPY, but not delete the existing folder/file, left click COPY. Move the mouse back to the right side of your screen (where the flash drive is open). Right click in the blank white space to get a list of actions. Select (left click) PASTE.
If you want to delete the folder/file from your computer, you left click CUT instead of COPY, but still use PASTE at the receiving Flash Drive.
You can also use Click-and-Drag to put files onto your Flash Drive.
