You know I suppose it does, but I have not had an opportunity to do that yet. Everything I have done so far has downloaded. Some library books that I borrow require that you load them from the computer and I have done that on my Kindle Fire.by

Depends, if you're using the experimental browser to connect to something like Hotmail our gmail... sure I tested it and it works... Now if you're trying to connect to a POP sever, or an exchange server, you're out of luck... it isn't a tablet. I'd say it wouldn't be my first choice as an email reader, but in a pinch I suppose I could use it to check my gmail accounts. Hope that helps.by
