That would definitely be annoying. There is a procedure for taking it apart and fixing that you can find by googling, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you have had the adapter for less than 1 year, you can return it to Best Buy with the receipt and they will repair/replace it for you free of charge. If you don't have your receipt, they may be able to look it up for you. If they can't find it, then call us from the store at 1-800-305-2204 and we'll see if we can get it taken care of for you.
