I have used it all day taking upwards of 1000 photos - I don't shoot video so I can't say how long it will last shooting video. I do tend to turn my camera off when not shooting which helps extend the life of the battery.
I don't know the exact number but I know that when we shoot this Nikon battery lasts well over 1000 shots. We use it in a Nikon D7100. We rarely shoot video with that camera though.
Multiple reviews rate the battery life at 1150 picts on a D7200. I can attest to getting more than a thousand and still having life left. I mainly use the eye piece which helps.
The battery has a huge capacity for picture taking. Last week I took over 700 photos on a single charge using a D750 in full frame mode saving both raw and jpg file for each photo.
For video, the estimate is about 3 hours of continuous shooting but depends on camera and video output settings.
The amount of time an EN-EL15 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery will last depends on what camera it is powering, what settings you have that camera in and whether or you are using it to take video or shoot stills. To learn more about what you can get out of a fully charged EN-EL15 battery please contact Nikon Support.
The charging lamp on the MH-25 battery charger should be blinking slowly while the Nikon EN-EL15 rechargeable li-ion battery is being charged in it. If the Charge lamp flashes quickly (about 8 times a second) during charging, confirm that the temperature is the correct range and then unplug the charger and remove and reinsert the battery. If the problem persists, cease use immediately, and contact Nikon Support for further assistance.
Not sure about the s version but All my En-El 15 batteries work in my D500. Totally pleased with product as my D500 uses more battery power than my D750 or my D7100. This battery works in all three. Naturally the 2016 battery I have works longer as its newer but my 2013 and 2014.l batteries work as well...just don't last as long. Hope this helps!
No. The Nikon D80 DSLR camera is compatible with the Nikon EN-EL3e Rechargeable Li-ion Battery. Nikon EN-EL3a and Nikon EN-EL3 batteries can not be used. An optional MB-D80 battery pack (which takes 6 AA batteries) can be used in place of the Nikon EN-EL3e Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, however, you will get fewer images from the AA battery type and some functions may be limited. To learn more about battery compatibility please contact Nikon Support.
No, charger is not included. Must purchase separately. I just took a photo trip to Central America, taking two of these batteries, charging one most nights. Always good to have a backup!
No--I just upgraded from the D90 to the D7100 and they take different batteries. The D90 needs an En-El3e and the 7100 takes the En-EL15 which is this battery.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery for the Nikon D7000 is the EN-EL15. The EN-EL15 is not compatible for the D90. The EN-EL3e is the correct battery for the camera.
No, this EN-EL15 battery is not compatible with the D70s. The appropriate batteries for the D70s are Nikon's EN-EL3, EN-EL3a or EN-EL3e Li-ion batteries.
