You can use a usb flash drive if you connect a micro usb to usb adapter to the usb port on the tablet. This adapter also allows you to connect a number of other usb devices like a PS3 game controller: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/micro-usb-otg-to-usb-2-0-adapter-black/1309857777.p?id=mp1309857777&skuId=1309857777&st=micro%20usb%20to%20female%20usb&cp=1&lp=1#tab=buyingOptions
No, it does not have a USB drive, but it does have a slot for an SD mini. You can put that into an adapter (which comes with a mini card) and transfer them that way. That's how I transfer documents and photos onto it. It's an extra step, but it is worth it. I love my note, and wouldn't trade it for any other tablet out there!
Yes it has full Office software including spreadsheets. Moreover Samsung gives you perks as $25 for Google Play and $25-50 for Samsung app store. You "buy" any other Office suite if you wish.
Polaris allows you to view, edit and save some features in word processing, spreadsheet and other "Office" type documents. There are also other programs that will allow you to edit and view some document types for free or low cost.
I'm trying to determine the differences in these 10.1 models. Other than some have more memory what's the differences? I'm looking the the 2014 model vs the others.
Yes. Step 1. Install Firefox browser. Step 2. Install outdated flash plugin. It still works with modern Samsung tablets. I checked it with Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition.
Yes, it is. You have to be sure that you have All Share (Link) downloaded on your computer so that and you should be able to share files between all three.
I have the original Note 10.1. Would the accessories like chargers and cases be compatible with the new one? Also, I was very disappointed that the S-notes from my original Note phone weren't compatible with the new Notes. Is there a plan for updates to fix that incompatibility with S-note formats?
No. The older charger CABLE will NOT work with the 10.1 2014 edition. Some cases are compatible and depends on the specific case you are trying to use.
I have tried multiple ways to sync my calendars between both devices so that if I add or change anything to the calendar on one device it will update on the other one. Is this even possible? Thanks!
Sort of. Of course you can install iTunes on an actual laptop or desktop machine and there store all of your music, videos, etc. There is also a free app on the Google Play store called Synctunes free for iTunes - PC. The app allows you to sync your iTunes music, podcasts, and videos from your iTunes library via WiFi. Since iTunes is a cloud application whatever is in your cloud would be on both devices.
No. You cannot run the iTunes app, as it is only available for the iPhone for now. However, you can sync and play your iTunes library using any of the droid-based iTunes sync apps.
