Based on your description, the refrigerator is most likely in Demo Mode (also called Cooling Off or Shop Mode). In this mode, the lights and display work, but the refrigerator and freezer will not cool.
Please note that simply unplugging and plugging the refrigerator back in will not turn off Demo Mode on this model. To disable it, a specific button combination is required.
