Can my u8000f remote work with this sound bar
Hi Rocky! Yes, if you have a Samsung U8000F TV, its remote can control basic functions of the HW-B650F Soundbar when the soundbar is connected to the TV using an HDMI ARC connection. You'll be able to control features such as power and volume using your TV remote.
If you're connected using an optical cable, you can also configure the TV remote to control the soundbar's volume through the TV's settings. Some advanced soundbar-specific functions, however, will still require the soundbar's included remote. ~ Samsung Solutions

Is there a way to turn the voice assistant off
Hello Jae! To disable the Voice Guide on the HW-B400F Soundbar:
Turn off the soundbar.
Using the remote control, press and hold the Source button for more than 5 seconds. (This will not work if you use the Source button on the soundbar itself.)
The soundbar will automatically power on, but it will no longer announce "Power On." This indicates that the Voice Guide has been successfully disabled.
If you would like to re-enable the Voice Guide, simply repeat steps 1 and 2.
