Let me attempt to clear up some confusion here - especially since a Belkin rep replied to this.
First off, from Belkin's standpoint - the rep is more or less correct. Since Belkin only supplies Windows software for this device, they do not support any other operating systems besides Windows.
However, the actual chipset used for this device (RTL8188SU) is not Belkin's creation; but Realtek's. Realtek on the other hand, *does* have both Mac and Linux drivers for this chipset. You can get that here:

Now, a word of warning - since Belkin only officially supports Windows with this adapter, this means that you should not expect Belkin to be able to provide any support for any problems that may come up while using the device on any other operating system besides Windows.
