Hi - The CS6114 and CS6124 are non-expandable. Both base units can be plugged in on the same line as extension units as long as they are connected on an active phone jack/modem. Thank you.
no the phone doesn't have a headphone jack. It hadn't occured to me to check until you're question. I was going to buy a headset for it. Thanks for getting me to check :)
The base plugs into a wall outlet and the phone just sits in the base to charge. And the phone cord goes from the base to a wall phone jack or your modem.
If you are so far away I would not buy this brand. I would buy an ATT or Panasonic phone because based on my previous experience Uniden or VTech will not work for very long and you are so far away you can't just run out and buy a "new" phone.
Hi - We're sorry but the VTech CS6114 does not have a headset jack. The only cordless unit that we manufacture with a headset jack is a multi-line unit. Thank you for your interest! ~VTech Support
I DONT KNOW. THE VOLUMN IS EXTREEMLY LOW AND ANSWERING THIS PHONE IS DIFFICULT AS YOU CAN BARELY HEAR THE PERSON AT THE OTHER END OF THE LINE. I HATE RETURNING ANYTHING SO I KEPT IT UNTIL I CAN AFFORD ANOTHER PHONE THAT IS BETTER FOR LISTENING AND TALKING SO THE OTHER PERSON CAN HEAR YOU
Hi - The VTech CS6114 works with any residential landline service. It has to be plugged in on a telephone jack or a modem with an analog telephone line port.
