The specifications on your site say the volts are 115V; but Frigidaire's web site says it is 230V. Which is it?

Yes ,,, we put it in the window and had room left over. The brackets keep it up and we screwed it into the side of the window and its more then secure and can not be stolen or taken out until everything is unscrewed properly and taken out.

I went to Lowes and got thick plexi glass and it keeps the unit in the window tighter and it can not be shoved in as easy .. You get what you pay for and its better to prepare for it and do it right. Plexi glass is expensive but it looks just like the window .....

The installed height of the unit is 17 5/8', with the minimum window height being 18 1/2".

You can NOT cut the plug ... Instructions say so ... It has 220 volt plug needed .... It is in one and runs perfect ...
