I'm trying to use a Logitech mouse on the mouse pad, and it doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to use the mouse pad, or do I need a different mouse or mouse pad thats compatible with the mouse I'm using?by

Is there any mousepad calibration in the Logitech software that you probably installed when you purchased the mouse? If so there could be some settings in there, I'd also try the "Control" side of the pad to see if that works any better with your Logitech mouse than the "Speed" side does. I had a few tracking issues on the speed side but none at all with the control side.by

My Logitech wireless mouse didn't work, period. I switched to wired and it works beautifully.Would have been nice to know beforehand that wireless mice are essentially unusable with this mousepad. It's a great mousepad otherwise.

If your mouse is wired, you should have no problems with this pad. If it's wireless, you may have to find a USB extension that allows you to place your USB receiver for your mouse at a level ABOVE the mousepad. This will ensure the aluminum plating does not interfere with the signal.Best of luck to you!

I see no reason why you couldn't use a mild cleaner and even a non-abrasive scouring pad. I've used them myself several times and never seen the slightest problem with the surface after doing so.by

I use a microfiber cloth, and spray Windex Multi-Surface Cleaner (the clear one with vinegar). on the cloth, and then wipe it down, being careful around the rubber feet. It works just fine for me.by

Mouse pads can be cleaned with most any soap and water. A good one can even be machined washed, but would not put one in a dryer. I wash my white mouse pad in machine every few months. If the mouse pad is getting old and fraying or separating around the edges, then it is time for a new one.by

I think it is Teflon. It is very tough what ever it is. The speed side is very slick and the control side is just a bit dimpled and so slower but with more control. Both will work for FPS gaming, you just get used to them.by

It's a "Sticker." That's the best way I can describe it. A thin sticker, with one side having a very slick feel to it, and the other side not having such a slick feel to it.by

Most likely it's a thin layer of Per-Fluorinated chemicals (AKA: PFCs)If not actually Teflon, some form of it. Which explains why it needs to be on a hard/rigid surface.
I purchased this same pad today. But, I am also going to look into whether PFC’s are good when digested or harmful if absorbed by the skin. :-)
