The Companion 20 features a 3.5 mm auxiliary input audio connection. If your TV outputs audio to a 3.5 mm audio port, you can connect the two devices together. Please check with your TV manufacturer for additional support on connecting third-party external systems.
These are much better. I returned the Series III speakers. They are just OK. If you spend a little bit more you won't have to ever buy them again, so it is a good long term investment.
The power supply for the Companion 20 speakers is dual voltage and compatible with 220W power outlets. The line cord that goes between the power supply and outlet would need to be replaced with one from the region in which the system is being used. Thanks!
No, a subwoofer is not included nor compatible with this system. Included in the box are the following components: 2 speaker arrays, 1 control pod, 1 speaker cable, 1 power pack and 1 AC power cord.
Hi there! As has already been noted below, the 3.5mm Male-Male stereo cable is 4 Ft (1.2 m) long by default. If this is not long enough for what you would like to use this for, please reach out to Bose support in your region to get hold of an extension cable for this. I hope this helps!
120v is all Bose supplies on either set these or the companion 2 series 3 . plus they bothe have the same size speaker 3.5" and sound good but the 2's are deeper vocally and have more bass where as these the 20's are all treble and gave me a headache go for the 2's series 3
Make sure you tap the silver disc on the remote volume control (green light will illuminate) as these speakers got into a sleep mode after a couple of minutes of undetected sound.
If you are not satisfied with the sound from you PC or iMac, the Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker is perfect. The separate Volume control is sleek and it has a jack for Audio output as well as audio input. I love it.
They are not Bluetooth or wireless. A good set of speakers that are actually slightly cheaper that have Bluetooth would be edifier r1280db. I have both and they both are good. Would honestly say the edifiers sound better.
