Thanks for the question. Samsung ranges, including the FX510BGS and FX710BGS, are designed to maintain the set temperatures. There are different factors that can affect their ability to do so, however. The first one to consider is installation. Samsung recommends having the ranges installed by a qualified technician who must follow the outlined procedures to ensure the gas pressure is regulated appropriately, depending on whether the unit is installed for use with natural gas or propane. Once the lines are installed, the technician may need to adjust each orifice, as well.
If the range is installed correctly but is not maintaining the correct temperature, it may be necessary to adjust the thermostat by following the instructions provided in the manual. The preset oven temperature can be adjusted ±30°F. If the temperature is off by more than 30°F, service may be necessary to determine the cause and correct it.
Samsung is committed to producing high quality products and providing excellent customer service. If the troubleshooting procedures that are provided are not sufficient, the product warranty, which in this case covers parts and labor for one year, is there to help ensure your satisfaction.
We appreciate your interest in these Samsung ranges and hope this information helps to alleviate your concerns.
