I was told by Init/Insignia/Best Buy that no replacement parts were available. The one rep from Init actually gave me a part # and said I could probably find it on ebay. No such luck. Being that these middle shelf supports are made of PLASTIC, if you bump or move the glass, they will break (2 of mine did, and luckily I was able to catch the glass before it fell and broke). I went and bought some 1/2" aluminum C channel, drilled out the holes, painted it black and installed it - it will not break this time.
I have the same problem....after several phone calls, it seems that the manufacturer and Best Buy have no clue about whether these parts exist.....good luck.
I'm sure if replacement parts are needed (although I truly DO NOT UNDERSTAND how you broke them). Call Best Buy and either they will get in touch with the manufacturer for you or give you the manufactures name and number. My stand is perfect and its been set up since August 15th, 2015 and is as strong as the day it was put together. The bottom shelving is even being used for clothes storage. I know Best Buy stands by all their products so you shouldn't have a problem with replacement parts or even just bringing in your stand and replacing it for a new one.
The mount does not come with this stand, from the way the one I have looks, it looks like there is no mount but don't quote me on that cuz Best Buy could do it, I would just give them call. I know I love my stand and it fits my 48" perfect.
This stand came with everything you need to put together. Nothing extra had to be purchased. All the pieces were marked and directions were very accurate . This stand came with all the tools, bolts and nuts that one needed.
I am not concerned with the top shelf. I have large audio components. amp, separate preamp , etc.. What are the weight capacities of the shelves themselves? . again the tv shelf is not an issue. thanks
The Insignia TV stand is definitely wide enough for both TV and a sound bar. However, the subwoofer would have to be placed on one of the lower shelves.
It measured from the top shelf and actually all shelf's are the same size, just slanted.. See the pictures attached. The stand from my TV is about 12" depth. Plenty of room for my sound bar.
