Super easy. Really just two cords to plug in - one for power and the other to connect audio/visual (3 plug-ins on each end, color coded). If you want to use an HDMI cable, you need to buy one, because it isn‘t included. Put batteries in the remote (included) and simply follow the couple of steps in the instructions. Took about 10 minutes.
The power cord is part of the unit. You cannot separate it from the unit. The male end is regular size and you can plug it into an outlet or power strip. This is small unit.
Hi there! Yes. You can use the player's REPEAT function. For more details, see this link: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4447/0ba6a1e89709d286fcf70a09f8f4d71a/44474812M.pdf Regards, Vincent
I hope you have an answer by now! What I do is use the TV remote to move the TV to AV. Then I activate the DVD player. Hope this helps or makes it easier from what you have been doing for 2 months.
When you hit imput the tv screen should show all inputs available. Hdmi 1, Hdmi , color screen (green,blue..)composit [red, yellow, white]. Pick the one your hooked up to.
Hi mismalis, No. This DVD player will only hold 1 disc at a time. Check here if you need more details: https://docs.sony.com/release//Ref_4447481111.pdf Regards, Vincent
Hi Terrie, This player will work with a TV that supports HDMI or composite connection. Depending on which port is available on the TV, you may use an HDMI or composite cable. I have the same question and it seems there is a difference between subtitle and closed captioning which most people confuse with each other.. https://www.matinee.co.uk/blog/closed-captions-vs-subtitles-and-why-the-difference-is-important/
However, these lengthy explanations go above the heads of most of us. The simple question is if a movie marked as closed-captioned (such as many on TCM) is copied from cable then will the DVD player show the captions?
