I just purchased one so the answer is Yes. You get exactly the same items that come with brand new one. Also includes a certificate of refurbishment.

Does this Refurbished Galaxy 2 10.1 have a USB port? The site does not show it for refurbished but the non refurbished has a USB I believe.

I'm sorry for the confusion, but none of the Samsung Tabs 2's will offer a dedicated traditional USB port. However, they will have a proprietary port that will allow for the connection to a USB port using the supplied USB data transfer/charging cable.

I called and asked Best Buy customer service. 90 day Samsung factory warranty on refurbished tablets. No extended warranty from Best Buy for refurbs.

There are some apps that will allow you to work with Microsoft Word and excel files but as far as loading the microsoft software on the android system that is not compatible. you can try polaris office or quick docs app they work real well with the microsoft word and excel. The only Microsoft app that i have seen as yet on the android market is the onenote app. and it is not the full version of one note. Hope this was helpful!

Although the Windows program MS Office will not be compatible with the Android OS, the Galaxy Tab 2/Note 10.1 will come preloaded with Polaris Office, which will allow you to author MS Office Documents.

HDMI Output?

The specs list HDMI as Yes, however from what I've read the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 doesn't offer a HDMI/Mirco HDMI port. Does this device come with a HDMI output?

I'm very sorry for the confusion. Although the Tab 2 can connect to a HDMI source using a separate HDTV Adapter (sold separately), it will not have a dedicated HDMI or Mini-HDMI port.

As long as the apps are available on the Google Play Store, then the Tab should be compatible with them. However, iTunes will not be compatible with the Tab out of the box since iTunes is an Apple exclusive application and will not work on an Android OS.

I noticed on the samsung website it indicates that there is a 1.0 ghz dual processor, and this one only indicates it has 1.0 ghz.

Is it a down grade?

Actually, only the Galaxy Note 10.1 will offer the S-Pen within the Tablet line, even though all of the Samsung Tabs and Notes will offer some form of a note app.
